LOS ANGELES COUNTY FIRE MUSEUM GRAND OPENING & FIRE SERVICE EVENTS

The Los Angeles County Fire Museum invites all to join us to celebrate the grand opening of our new purpose-built museum facility. Our new location in the Bellflower Mayne Events Center will serve as our public face to showcase our collections and events. The event will be running along with Los Angeles County Fire Department service demonstrations with equipment on display, food trucks, live music and more.

Celebrities from the EMERGENCY! Television show will be on hand to meet visitors and sign autographs. Squad 51 and the Engine 51s will be on display along with more antique fire apparatus, artifacts, and Los Angeles County Fire Department history.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Attendees will be among the first to see our sparkling new Museum Facility which will house our popular 51s and chosen antique apparatus in a space custom designed for Fire History. They will see displays and learn about the Los Angeles County Fire Service through docent discussions and video stations, and have the opportunity to visit our new gift shop to purchase photos for autographs, and much more.

The autograph station, which will include EMERGENCY! Television stars Randolph Mantooth, Kevin Tighe, Mike Stoker, and Ron Pickard will be located in the new facility. The stars will be available for autographs from 11AM to 5PM. Our special guest will be Granite Mountain Hotshot Brendan McDonough. Celebrity appearances subject to change.

The LACoFD Urban Search and Rescue Teams will perform three vehicle extractions, guests will get a close-up view of an LACoFD Quint, Paramedic vehicle, Lifeguard Vehicle, and will have the opportunity to jump into a Shakey Quakey and “ride” an earthquake.

There will be food trucks and plenty of time to enjoy the restaurants all along Bellflower Boulevard.

The live band which will be located by Pirate Park.
