SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS & INFORMATION

The Museum Team is expecting a VERY large turnout for this event. According to our past experience, you should expect over 5000 people to converge onto Bellflower Blvd. Saturday morning. Come Early… Stay all day.

UPDATES:

  • Celebrity autographs will run from 11Am to 5PM. The celebrities will take breaks as needed
  • We cannot guarantee everyone will get an autograph
  • Ron Pickard will not be coming due to personal reasons

FOOD TRUCKS will be located at Mayne and Pacific

USAR demonstrations will take place at Oak & Bellflower

QUICK NOTES ON COMING TO THE EVENT

Please remember that Bellflower Blvd will be closed, as well as all cross streets from Flora Vista Street to Flower. Use Woodruff or Lakewood Blvd to access the parking areas. See the parking MAP here.

PARKING

The Museum Team highly suggests the use of public transit, Uber, Lyft, or a taxi to arrive at the event. If you still decide to drive, we recommend that you COME AND PARK EARLY. All parking will be located in the city of Bellflower public parking lots, there isn’t much street parking in the area. When they fill up, you will not have a place to park. When you approach the parking lots, please be aware that you will be driving in residential neighborhoods. Be respectful and careful as you drive on the city streets. The Bellflower City Center has large parking garages that will be open to the public for parking. Access the Center from Woodruff.

HANDICAPPED PARKING AREA

The handicapped parking area will be located in the parking lot behind the new museum building. The lot must be accessed from Woodruff. See the Parking page for more information. 

 

HYDRATION

The city of Bellflower will be providing some water, but we recommend that you bring liquids with you to stay hydrated.

FOOD

The main street in the city of Bellflower has a rich set of food establishments and there will be food trucks too. There will be plenty to eat. Go up and down the street and explore the variety of tastes available. See the EAT! page for more information.
